Drive yourself or be accompanied in your own sub scooter to explore and discover the beauty and diversity of the coral and sea life at the site in Mont Choisy. These sub scooters are approved and certified by the international authorities who specialise in maritime security. Comfortably positioned, one behind the other, you breathe normally and freely in a large dome which is transparent allowing you panoramic views under the sea. What a pleasure to be able to speak and share your views of the flora and fauna during this 30 minute trip. To move, all you have is a simple steering wheel and an accelerator pedal. 5 scooters travel together under the watchful eye of 2 undersea guides who stay with the group at all times.

The excursion begins at the Blue Safari office at Mont Choisi where you will board a transfer boat and take a 10 minute boat ride to the base – a 14 metre barge. Once dressed in wet suit and briefed for 10 minutes about how the scooter works and the security regulations, you will get into the scooters which are located at the rear of the barge. A sophisticated hydraulic system brings the scooter down to 3 metres and a small acceleration on the pedal begins your magical tour of the underworld. When you get back, showers and changing rooms are available on the barge and you will be given refreshments before heading back to land. It’s as close as you’ll get to feeling like James Bond!! No diving or swimming skills required to pilot the sub scooter. Open to people in good physical condition i.e. no cardiovascular or respiratory problems.
