It’s not everywhere around the island that you will have ideal conditions for windsurfing. In some areas the lagoon is too shallow and the board may scrape the coral below but in Cap Malheureux it’s perfect! Mont-Choisy is also a super spot as well as the South East coast near Blue Bay.

CLUB MISTRAL

South West This club is linked to ‘Mistral’ and has 18 windsurfing centres worldwide with over 20 years experience and is one of the leaders in this market. The equipment is the latest from Mistral and North Sails and are renewed every year. In high season more than 60 boards and 100 sails are available for all levels and demands. At the club, courses are available for beginners as well as intermediates and children are also welcome.
